Authentic by Sweetwater (Moda)

This was my first bit of fancy quilting. It wasn't easy, I have to admit, but I'm sure with more practice it will get easier.

A kind friend, More Than Fields of Wheat. sent me a charm pack of Moda fabric - Authentic by Sweetwater. I mixed them up and made the pinwheel design and then framed them in black like so..

 

With a little rearranging.

I love the border fabric.

Using tracing paper I quilting a design along the black border.

 

The backing is black polar fleece. 

Very warm and cosy.
